What is SkyWarn UK OT?
SkyWarn UK OT is an extension of SkyWarn UK and covers the UK's overseas territories in the North Atlantic and Caribbean. Our aim is to provide alerts on tropical and subtropical storms and hurricanes, and to gather reports on these events by establishing a network of storm spotters. Want to know more? Current Advisory
SkyWarn UK OT operates a combined, colour coded weather advisory and spotter status system. Whenever a system is a potential threat to a UK territory advisories are issued.

Alert Criteria
Green - No current Tropical Storm or Hurricane Watch or Warning in effect
Amber - A Tropical Storm Watch or Hurricane Watch is in effect
Red - A Tropical Storm Warning or Hurricane Warning is in effect
A 'Tropical Storm Watch' or 'Hurricane Watch' means that (sub)tropical storm or hurricane conditions are possible within 48 hours. A 'Tropical Storm Warning' or 'Hurricane Warning' means that (sub)tropical storm or hurricane conditions are expected within 24 hours, or occuring.
